How much does a dedicated desk cost in Chennai?
At Atrium it's ₹8,000 a month plus GST, which is ₹9,440 a month in total. Across Chennai, dedicated desks usually cost about ₹6,500 to ₹15,500 a month, depending on the area and the operator, and central Anna Salai sits at the higher end.
What's the difference between a dedicated desk and a hot desk?
A dedicated desk is yours every day: the same seat in the Focus Den, booked monthly. A hot desk is any free seat on the day. If you only come in now and then, a day pass is the hot-desk option at Atrium.
What's included in the monthly fee?
Your own desk and chair, high-speed internet with backup lines, power backup, tea and coffee twice a day, snacks three times a week, printer and copier access, the phone booth and standing desk, housekeeping, reception support, courier and mail handling, a business address, and 1 free meeting room hour a month.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes. There's a refundable retainer of 3 months' fee, which is ₹24,000 for one desk, returned when you move out as per your agreement.
What are the lock-in and notice period?
The lock-in is 6 months and the notice period is 2 months. The monthly fee goes up 8% once a year.
Can I use the Atrium address for my business?
Yes. You can use the Teynampet address on your website, letterheads, business cards, and Google Maps, and we put up a signboard with your company name for a one-time fee of ₹350. For GST or company registration, see our virtual office plans.
Do I get meeting room time?
Yes. You get 1 hour a month in the meeting room free, and 50% off after that.
What are the working hours? Is there 24/7 access?
The office is open 9 AM to 9 PM, Monday to Saturday. Weekend access is available in an emergency, with prior notice to the team.
Is the internet reliable for calls and uploads?
Yes. The main line is 1 Gbps ACT Fibernet, tested at 864 Mbps download with a 2 ms ping, and there are backup lines if one goes down.
Can my clients visit me here?
Yes. Reception greets your visitors and brings them to you, and you can book the meeting room for client calls and discussions.
Is it secure?
Entry is biometric, and security cameras cover the shared areas. The front desk is staffed through the day.
Can I upgrade to a private cabin later?
Yes, subject to availability. A 1-seater cabin is ₹15,000 a month and private cabins for teams are ₹9,000 a seat, plus GST.
How many dedicated desks are there?

Is a dedicated desk right for hybrid work?
If you come in most days, yes: the desk costs less than about 11 full-day passes a month. If it's just a day or two a week, a day pass is usually better value.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes. Come for a day on a day pass, or drop in between 9 AM and 9 PM, Monday to Saturday, to see the Focus Den.
Is parking available?
Bike parking is free. Car parking isn't included with dedicated desks.
Do you give a GST invoice?
Yes. You get a GST invoice every month, so your business can claim input tax credit where eligible.
